Come celebrate Earth Day in one of the best parks in Cleveland Heights brought to you by the City of Cleveland Heights! This is a timed, in-person run and walk with funds raised going towards youth recreation scholarships. 

Event Day Timeline

• 8:00 AM - Check in begins for run/walk portion of the day

• 9:00 AM - Kids Dash (400 meters) begins

• 9:15 AM - 5k start & 1 mile

• 10:00 AM - Awards for 5k 

• 10:30 AM - Bike Rides, Clean Ups, and Planting Challenges Begin and last until 2pm
  

• 1:30 PM - Last call to begin the Bike Rides, Clean Ups, and Planting Challenges

4 Ways to Participate

1. The 5k Run/Walk, 1 Mile Run/Walk, or Kids Run - Your entry earns you a shirt, bib, and timed race!

2. Bike Ride Challenge - Starting at 10:30 until 2pm, Bike the 5k course while taking in the sights and sounds of historic Forest Hills Park

3. Clean Up Challenge - Starting at 10:30 until 2pm, check in and receive a trash bag and gloves. We will send you to a quadrant of the park to gather trash and debris to help keep our park beautiful

4. Planting Challenge - Starting at 10:30 until 2pm, help us plant flowers around the community center!

• All runners will receive a soft-fit t-shirt, bib, timed race, and opportunity to win awards for Top 3 Male/Female and Top 1 M/F in 10 year age groups

• Bike to the race and receive a Earth Day Sticker

• Participate in the Bike Challenge to receive a Earth Day Sticker

• Participate in the Clean Up Challenge to receive a Earth Day Sticker
