MedWish Miles is back and has expanded into an in-person (and virtual) event!
On Saturday, August 19, we’re inviting you into our neighborhood for a 5k run or 2k walk. Bring your kids, dogs, or friends and help us raise awareness and support the MedWish mission! Whether you’re a seasoned runner/walker or just getting started, you can go the distance for MedWish during this year’s event.
Support of MedWish Miles enables MedWish International to continue to provide lifesaving medical supplies to those who need it most both locally and internationally.
EVENT DAY TIMELINE:
7:45 a.m. Registration Opens
8:00 a.m. Sunrise Yoga, Big Bubble Fun, and other Family-Friendly Activities Begin
8:30 a.m. Welcome from MedWish
8:45 a.m. 5k Run Starts from The Sterling Center
9:30 a.m. Estimated 2k Walk Start Time
10:30 a.m. Awards Ceremony
11:00 a.m. Event Concludes

AWARDS & PRIZES:
There are plenty of chances to win fun prizes at this year's event!
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Fastest 5K Run Participant - This will be awarded to the fastest male and fastest female 5k racers (determined by chip time).
The Most Enthusiastic Family - This will be awarded to the family who is cheering the loudest, best dressed, or supporting MedWish Miles in style.
The Most Fun Costume Award - We love a good theme! Come up with a fun and festive costume for yourself or your running/walking buddies! Tutus and accessories encouraged!
The Cutest 4-Legged Furry Friend Award - Please remember, your pets must be leashed!

This year we'll have individual fundraising opportunities and a chance to win fun prizes!
Help us reach our overall fundraising goal of $15,000!
Prizes will be available for pick up post-race or shipped for an additional charge.
Individual Fundraising Tiers:
Anyone who reaches these fundraising milestones will receive the following:
Tier 1: $222 - race registration automatically refunded.
Tier 2: $1,222 - a MedWish water bottle and registration refunded.
Tier 3: $2,222 - an exclusive MedWish quarter zip pullover, a MedWish water bottle, and registration refunded.
TOP INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISER will receive a MedWish Watch!
TOP FUNDRAISING TEAM will each receive MedWish Backpacks!
PLEASE NOTE: Event fundraising is open through July 10th!
You can still contribute to secure a prize as the top individual or team fundraiser throughout the weekend AND earn cool perks! The top fundraising winners will be announced in the week following the event.
