Welcome back to the 2024 Olmsted Spirit 5k! Since 1998 the Olmsted Spirit 5k Run/Walk has been part of the Olmsted Community 26th year!
Our Mission:
To bring together the Olmsted and surrounding communities for a fun morning of physical activity. We will continue our dual fundraising goal we started in 2021 to raise funds for scholarships for OFHS graduating seniors who gave back to their community and local small businesses who give back to the Olmsted Community. The proceeds raised from this event will be split 50/50 between the scholarships and small business fund. Together, we will make a difference for this amazing Olmsted Community!
This is our first official year of our 4 Race Series! This year, the Olmsted Spirit 5k is turning 25 which makes this Series Kick Off even more special! The Series Championship is point based and the top overall female and male who accumulate the most points at the end of the four race series will earn $1,000 cash! New this year in the Spirit Run is The 1500m Track Run and it will begin at 8:00AM. Our 5k run/walk will start at 8:20AM! Our Kids Super Hero Fun Run will start AFTER the 5k run/2 mile walk.
Registration:
Adult Registration:
$30 now until race weekend
$35 on the weekend of the event
Kids Fun Run Registration:
$10 now until the weekend of the event
$15 on the weekend of the event
**T-shirts are not included in registration.
Race Route:
Race route will be set once we coordinate where the event will be held. Keep up to date with event details by visiting www.olmstedspirit.com
Overall and Age Group Winners:
The Top Overall Female/Male will be recognized in the 1500m Track Run, Tactical Vest Division, and the 5k Run.
The Top Female/Male will be recognized in the following groups:
Ages 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70-79, 80+
Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up
We will have a Saturday Packet Pick-up and Registration as well as Race Day Packet Pick-up and Registration. Location and time TBD.
Race Day Registration will cost $35 for adults and $15 for the Kids Fun Run. Registration does not include a t-shirt.
